┃Retrofit Engineering
We provide retrofit design services for new system which is to be installed on operational vessels.
After acquiring point cloud data with 3D Scan and converting it to a 3D model, 3D CAD modeling necessary for retrofitting such as Equipment placement, piping, support, and lifting plan of retrofit equipment is performed using the 3D-CAD software “CADMATIC”. We create from Production drawings till drawings for installation work. We also obtain approval for modified drawings for each ship class in-house.
In addition, it is also possible to explain our drawings to overseas construction shipyards and dispatch a construction supervisor .
■BWMS Retrofitting design
We design BWMS equipment to filter and sterilize ballast water, which is one of the causes of imbalance in the marine ecosystem. By creating 3D drawings with easily understandable installation instructions which makes construction simplified and installation mistakes are reduced.
■SOx Scrubber Retrofitting design
We design the Sox Scrubber equipment to remove sulfur in the exhaust gas from the engine. Similar to the BWMS installation design, it is also designed using a 3D model.
