In 2021, regulations on existing ship fuel efficiency (EEXI) and fuel performance (CII) rating systems were adopted, coming into effect in 2023. This has led ship operators to scramble for compliance. When considering EEXI and CII compliance, one might initially think of limiting engine output. Although this incurs no initial cost, it may slow down operational speeds, causing logistical delays and potential significant profit losses over extended operational years.

To avoid these issues and improve CII grades, we believe it is better to install energy-saving devices that reduce CO2 emissions (such as CO2 scrubbers, wind-assisted propulsion systems, alternative power systems for ships, and eco-friendly conversions of existing machinery).

Similar to BWMS and SOx scrubber retrofits, we perform 3D laser scanning, convert the data into 3D models, and use 3D CAD software for design.

We provide tailor-made solutions considering the type of ship, the owner’s requirements, and the budget.
